Detergent, Jik
- Used to whiten and brighten your laundry and remove stains from surfaces.
Use Cases;
- BATHROOM SURFACES:
Clean: Add 1/4 cup (62.5 ml) of JIK to 5 litres of water. Wash floors, walls, kitchen counters, fridges, dustbins, showers, baths, basins and tiles and then rinse after 30 seconds
- TOILETS, DRAINS AND PLUG HOLES:
Stain Removal and Germ/Virus Killing: Add 1/2 cup (125 ml) of JIK into the toilet bowl, down drains and plug holes. Rinse after 10 minutes. Do not use with any other toilet/household cleaner. For disinfection, dilute as appropriate only at time of use.
- LAUNDRY:
JIK is safe for use on most colourfast washable fabrics including cotton, nylon and polyester.Colourfast Test: Add 1 teaspoon (5 ml) of JIK to half a cup (125 ml) of water and apply to a hidden part of the garment (check all colours and trims). Leave for 1 minute, then rinse. If the colour does not change then it is colourfast.
- Whitening and Brightening: Mix 1/4 cup (62.5 ml) of JIK in a bucket of water (10 litres). Soak whites and colourfast items for 10-15 minutes. Rinse and then wash with detergent as usual.Stain Removal and Germ/Virus Killing: Add 1/4 cup (62.5 ml) of JIK to 5 litres of water. Soak stained items for 5-15 minutes. Rinse and then wash with detergent as usual.
*Tested on the following germs, under clean conditions (The efficacy of the chemical disinfectant could be compromised if surfaces are soiled): E. coli, S. aureus, P. aeruginosa, E. hirae and tested on the following viruses under soiled conditions: Human Adenovirus Type 5, Canine Parvovirus, Poliovirus Type 1
